
Theater Basel
In 2014, Switzerland’s leading three-genre theater entrusted its overall communication design to Raffinerie. The brief was to break down the theater’s exclusive image and find new ways to engage with a broader audience. Its new identity is based on a cube that symbolizes the stage area, with a three-dimensional font suggesting depth. But it’s the striking visuals – shot by English photographer Jason Evans in the first season – that truly make up the core of the new identity.
