Hockey Club Davos

How do you tell the story of a century-long sporting institution across 464 pages without creating just another archive book? The challenge was to make the history of Switzerland’s most successful hockey club emotional, contemporary and engaging for different generations of readers. Historical documents, contemporary photography, game footage, statistics and infographics are woven together with a photo essay by Jules Spinatsch, capturing the culture and passion of HCD’s loyal fan base. The result is a multi-layered tribute that brings the club’s triumphs, setbacks and enduring spirit to life. A coloured edge print in the club’s colours gives the monumental volume its distinctive character.
